SHOW CONTROL

Show Control

D J Willrich Ltd takes pride in creating elegant show control systems that are simple to use yet frequently dazzling in their power.

Every client has differing needs, from a simple switch to an elaborate show control system. DJW works with client teams to identify these needs and develops show control systems to meet them, as well as, ideally, anticipating future needs. This means that the show control systems that we design and deliver are moulded to the client’s needs, often so that they can have area-wide and specific control over lighting, power, audio and more at the touch of a control panel.

The large indoor theme park, ring˚werk at the Nürburgring, had three different control rooms spread across the site. These rooms housed show control interfaces to check the status of the equipment, run special shows, as well as for the day-to-day show control of the dark ride, projection cave ride, immersive show and more.

The show control at the Capitol Theatre in Fort Edmonton Park co-ordinates video, special effects and moving setworks to create an immersive show. Out of Park hours, client staff use a portable touch panel programmed by DJW to convert the space, either into a movie theatre, or, into a theatre with full lighting and audio functionality.
